HP’s low priced SMEs

Hewlett-Packard (HP) has claimed the release of the latest low cost server line aimed for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).

This supposedly is the latest strategy which has been thrown by the electronics maker to win over trades with no more than 8 to 10 employees. HP in the same regard has introduced the latest micros server which is tagged under the column its 'Just Right IT' marketing, claims tech news site ZD Net.

The BDM for servers unit service in the EMEA at HP, James Henry, said, "I see Microserver as fitting a gap at the low end of market. Whereas before getting a server would be a step too far, this really simplifies it. It could be our first interaction with any of those customers."

The 'Just Right It' tagline speaks of a list of offerings where HP aims to offer newest range of servers and storage offerings, specially crafted and developed for small organizations.

However, the latest range of HP boasts of HP proLiant microserver, storageworks P2000 and Microsoft System
