ALC Debut’s: Opens Satellite Clinic in Vietnam

September 11 saw the Asian Liver Centre debut in Ho Chi Minh City.

This center is first of its kind in Vietnam and has been opened in collaboration with the Asian Centre for Liver Diseases and Transplants in Singapore and the Hoa Lam Development and Investment Joint Stock Company.

Nguyen Quoc Trieu, Health Minister said that it is hoped, the centre would reduce the extra workload off hospitals and its well-known doctors from Singapore and Vietnam will be capable at helping patients get easy access to medical check-ups and treatments for all forms of liver diseases, which as well comprise hepatitis B, C, liver cancer and liver cirrhosis.

The similar day, the center organized a workshop on liver ailments.

The clinic, which has been named as Asian Liver Centre, is an enterprise between ACLDT and Hoa Lam Development in Vietnam and Investment Joint Stock Company.

The leader of ACLDT in Singapore and well-known liver transplant surgeon, Dr. Tan Aki Chah would be flying to Ho Chi Minh City on a frequent basis, so that he can treat people at the clinic.

He has to his credit, over 20 years of experience in conducting liver transplant operations and offering treatment for liver diseases.
