Adobe reclaims the Flash-to-iOS tools

Adobe has brought forward the Packager for iPhone tool, developed especially to convert Flash applications into iOS apps.

The step has been taken in order to Apple's continuum of withdrawing restrictions imposed prior on the use of third part developer tools in form of apps in the platform.

Apple had initially forbidden the use of third party app complier tools, and at the same time stopped the developments linked with Packager tool, which aided developers to port Flash applications on iOS devices.

Apple's ban was linked with the efforts to refuse Adobe's Flash platform which are based on Apple devices.

When Apple withdrew the restriction, Adobe claimed that Flash developers can corroborate the Packager apps come with a nod of Apple's App Store.

The company through a blog post posted: "Adobe will continue to work to bring full web browsing with Flash Player 10.1 as well as standalone applications on AIR to a broad range of devices."

Adobe at the same time claimed that Apple will continue to forbid the usage of Flash Player from browsers making use of iOS devices.
