Online services being provided by J.P Morgan to its customers suffered a drawback when a technical snag occurred in the systems of the country’s 2nd largest bank.

Customer numbers reaching in millions suffered immense inconvenience due to the absence of online service being offered by the bank. The online service of the bank remained disrupted for more than 24hrs. The services were disrupted on Monday and continued into late evening till Tuesday.

A Spokesman further, in order to calm the nerves of frightened customers announced that the disruption in the online services was not due to hackers or criminals trying to break into their accounts but was a technical glitch, which would be ironed out immediately.

The customers however, faced immense inconvenience as they were not able to check even their balance in their accounts. According to Jack Daniels, a customer with the bank complained that he had to put off his plans to invest in a new camera because he could not access his business account with the bank. Even after about 24hrs, Mr. Daniels failed to access his account.

Mr. James Dimon, Chief Executive, Chase, J.P. Morgan in an announcement apologized for the inconvenience that has been caused to the customers due to the disruption of services. Mr. Dimon apologized for the disruption of services while promoting an application by J.P. Morgan for the iPhone by Apple Inc.
