Promoters Sued by MJ’s Parents

Katherine, Michael Jackson's mother had sued the promoters of the famous pop singer for imposing tight rehearsal schedule on him, which caused his death.

AEG Live has also been charged of negligence in employing Dr. Conrad Murray as Michael's physician and also in providing poor medical and health care to the singer just before the big comeback tour in 2009.

The lawsuit filed against the AEG live alleges, "AEG had legal duties to Michael Jackson to treat him safely and to not put him in harm's way."

It also included that just due to AEG’s action and inactions, three children have lost their father, old mother and father lost their son, and last but not the least the world lost its most popular celebrity and entertainer.

In June 2009, cardiac arrest has caused Michael’s death at the age of 50.

Doctor- Conrad Murray has been accused of giving heavy dose of painkiller Propofol to MJ on June 25 2009, thus causing his death.

The lawsuit also claimed that the King of Pop was being forced to perform even at the age of 50.

Still, AEG has not commented on this.

The lawsuit has been filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday.

The Director, Kenny Ortega who planned the series of concerts “This is It” has also been included in the lawsuit.

Jackson's father, Joe had also filed the wrongful death lawsuit accusing Dr. Murray for professional negligence.
