Michelle thinks being First Lady is hell: Carla Bruni

According to France's first lady, Carla Bruni, Michelle Obama thinks being First Lady of the USA is like living a life of hell.

Apparently, when the Sarkozys had visited the White House in March, Michelle Obama had made such a statement.

Bruni had married French President Sarkozy in 2008. The 42-year-old Italian is a model turned singer.

She is having her official biography written by Michael Darmon and Yves Derai, titled 'Carla and the Ambitious', which will be released to counter-attack the unauthorised book about her, Carla: A Secret Life, by French journalist Besma Lahouri, that has been published on Wednesday, and that talks of Bruni as a vain and selfish woman who neglects her official and charitable work.

It says she is known as "anti-Diana" in the Elysee palace. Bruni's official biography will be a positive one to counter this one. It also has the apparent statement by Michelle Obama.

Meanwhile, Michelle Obama has reacted to Bruni's claims that she had said her life as First Lady was like hell, saying that she never said such a thing. The White House and the French embassy acted quickly and prevented further controversy by casting aside the alleged remarks.
