Sony VAIO has unveiled its new sleek 8-inch netbook at CES. The netbook series known by the name of Sony Vaio P series will be available for pre-order in the UK.

Though it is just a netbook yet the pricing does not match its size. The netbook is priced between £849 and £1,370. With the increase in price the feature set includes 128 GB SSD as well as 3 G, a built-in GPS and an extended battery life of 8 hours, 25 minutes.

The reasons why Sony has made the new sleek, small and fast netbook in the UK and not US is a mystery. But there are still dissensions on the high resolution, small screen and high price of the netbook.
