High commodity exports expected

According to the forecast for commodity exports from Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics (ABARE), the commodity export will rise by 26% in the next year. As per the forecast the energy and mining production will rise by 12% in the next year compared to this year.

The total rise in commodity exports is expected to stand at 215 billion dollars. As per the quarterly review of commodity markets by ABARE the production has been rising sharply in both the rural Australia and resource industry.

The farm production is also expected to see a 8.1% growth in the next year. Experts are expecting for an export rise because of the production rises.

Meanwhile the ABARE has predicted the iron ore export from Australia to reach at 437 million tons in the next year which will be 10% higher than the export figures of this year and 41.4% higher than the exports of 2008.

The export of steel making coal is also expected to be increased by 25% compared to 2008 while the thermal coal exports are expected to rise by 13% in the next year.
