While it is yet nt revealed as to which rehab program has Lohan chosen for herself, she has however reportedly checked herself into a substance abuse rehab program.

Having spent 13 days in a Los Angeles County jail, the actress Lindsay Lohan is then said to have spent 23 days in a rehab program at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center as per the orders of the court.

After going through a failed drug test, the actress was jailed by the Los Angeles, California, judge. And now, she has been told to get herself registered in a rehab.

A message by Lohan on Twitter dated September 17 read, "Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps”.

The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department declared that late Friday night, Lohan had posted a $300,000 bail and hence was then released from jail.

Michael Lohan, her father had been for long trying to convince his daughter to go to a rehab, but had failed. He now feels good that the judge has asked her to do so.

Allan Parachini, Los Angeles County Superior Court Spokesman said that Lohan was required to wear a SCRAM alcohol-detection bracelet. This was one of the bail terms.
