News is abuzz that famous pop star Britney Spears will be paid a tribute in Glee's episode, which is scheduled to go air on Tuesday night (September 28).

The show’s cast will be performing on six of Britney's largest hits till date. They will also revive her most famous costumes that she wore in her videos, including the "Oops ... I Did It Again" red-leather bodysuit; the decorated "Toxic" look; the "I'm a Slave 4 U" green bikini with a snake; the "Baby One More Time" schoolgirl dress; Madonna and Brit's "Me Against the Music" menswear-inspired suits; and a rousing version of "Stronger".

According to the show’s creator Ryan Murphy, the episode is "hallucinogenic.

Spears is keeping her fans updated about the episode and will be live-tweeting during the show's West Coast airing.

Amber Riley says that the episode will be able to meet the expectations that it has raised. It’s going to be a great episode and everybody will enjoy it.

Heather Morris, who portrays as the jubilant cheerleader, says of filming with Spears, "I just sat there and stared at her. Like, 'Wow, I'm just hanging out with Britney Spears as Brittany the character. We're doing a scene. I'm singing her songs. It was weird".
