The world renowned TV anchor Oprah Winfrey would be hosting the entire cast of the 1965 musical, Sound of Music. The famous TV star has further announced that the stars of Sound of Music would not have anyone from the cast missing on her show.
However, the most startling revelation regarding the show is that Dame Julie Andrews would be making an appearance on the show as well. The appearance of Andrew’s would be a first in the past many uncountable years with the Von Trapp Kids.
Andrew’s character in the movie, Sound of Music was probably the most memorable role of Andrew’s career. She would be accompanied by Christopher Plummer, famous for the role of Captain Georg von Trapp, in the movie and her seven make believe wards as well.
A performance of the Von Trapp Children is on the cards too, it is a musical group that consists of people from the lineage of the real Von Trapps. Though, Andrews would not be a part of the performance as she had her throat nodules removed during a surgery in the year 1997.
The stars would also be discussing the production of the film and how it was like when the movie was being made. They would be besides talking about their road to the Oscars in which the movie won 5 awards.
