The two Aussies, Michael Diamond and Adam Vella would be back in the shooting range on Sunday. Both the men would be competing for gold at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi. Michael Diamond would be hot-favorite for the gold and if he wins would be bagging his second gold for the game.
Another Australian would be out in the shooting range looking to trap gold by shooting her way to the top in the women’s 10 meter air rifle final. The lady in question is none other than the teenager from Natimuk, Alethea Sedgman.
Sedgman had won her first gold for the game on Thursday, and has been caught up in the motion ever since. She has been very busy over the past couple of days and would be looking to gain her focus for the finals on Sunday.
While talking about her gold, Ms. Sedgman stated that her whole town was very thrilled with her gold winning performance in the games. She further exalted that her Facebook profile has been flooded with congratulations and she has decided not to access it for some time to come.
However, Sedgman was disappointed with her performance in the games on Saturday. She and partner Robyn Van Nus had lost out in the 10 meter air rifle pairs event, which they had lost to the Malaysian team with a trail of thirteen shots.
