While the Green campaigners are very much relieved of the fact that the three major environment quangos, namely the, Natural England, the Environment Agency and the Forestry Commission have been able to survive the cull period but as the fears are still looming on the fact that the initial two will eventually merge and with the last one abolishing has been disturbing many for the past few days.
The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) on the other end is of a view that the three will soon be transformed into a radical and comprehensive way which will be one way of putting it as these will have go through major restructuring before making their way to actual functioning.
It may even be considered as another hint to the fact that they will stop the activity that the government doesn’t have any proper need to do.
The recent announcement made by DEFRA has slammed the foot on several environmental, non-departmental, public bodies who could pin point the government on that it is going the wrong way, at least in terms of publicity in times to come.
