TomTom and HTC are joining hands in a proposal to present quicker and more precise maps and instructions for HTC mobile phone users.

The 2 leading companies gave out statement today that HTC Locations, the Smartphone manufactures fresh new mapping and navigation service shall be coming preloaded with TomTom's "location-rich" maps.

The service shall be initially appearing on the Android-based HTC Desire and HTC Desire Z smart phones in Europe and Asia sooner than shaping out to be the future smart phones models.

While TomTom's maps shall be coming already preloaded, the leading are assuring fast access to maps and locations.

Maarten van Gool, managing director of TomTom licensing expressed in a statement they are very satisfied to be offering HTC customers with TomTom's precise location and navigation substance on their phones anywhere they are.

The attractiveness of this new hand set is that all the maps are already preloaded and immediately available at users' fingertips. It is the first time that any company is making the power of TomTom navigation content accessible in the pockets itself for HTC Smartphone users.
