AMD offers a DirectX 11 graphics card which offers 5870 core has filtered down to cheaper cards, with the 5770 currently selling like hot cakes. The 5850were considered to be gen next cards. AMD proffers
25 million DirectX 11 cards in total.
AMD has released its second generation of DirectX 11 graphics cards, in varied form of the model 6870, along with its slightly cheaper than the next series the 6850.
The direct substitutes for the 6870 and 6850 came in the form of the 5770 and 5750 for the outgoing cards. The Radeon HD 6870 makes the 'Barts XT' core for its shenanigans, which is offered with 5800 series core.
Meanwhile, the midway option amidst the 5830 and 5850. Specs of the card speak of faster clock rate to either of these predecessors with 900MHz, as opposed to the 750MHz of the 5850 and the 5830's 800Mhz.
