Coalition Cuts Being Supported by Murdoch

In order to remain popular there is a necessity to go the political way warns Media tycoon Rupert Murdoch.

The comment was made following the rating got by Liberal Democrats. They are said to have received just 10% in the YouGov/Sun poll. Mr. Murdoch is said to have supported the approach by David Cameron for the lowering of public spending.

"Self-serving states are making themselves ever larger, sucking the air of opportunity out of the room. We all have a role in fashioning a society that is driven by aspiration and not crippled by calcification”, he added.

The Conservatives too had been endorsed before the general election by Sun and Times a newspaper which is owned by Mr. Murdoch. The takeover of BSkyB by News Corps, through which it plans to acquire 61% of shares, now depends on the approval by Business Secretary Vince Cable.

Yet another newspaper by Mr. Murdoch is said to publish some such news which are now being focused. The wiretapping activities which are being associated with the newspaper had made the Prime Minister hired red-top's former editor Andy Coulson as his head of strategy in Downing Street.
