The electronic books that are purchased from Amazon’s Kindle Store are going to be allowed to be borrowed. Amazing .com Incorporated is indeed going to allow books to be lent.
Amazon .com announced on its website about the upcoming feature. The online retailers had a deep discussion about the pros and cons of this decision on the discussion forum for their Kindle Store on their website, on this Friday.
They also said that later on in the year they will add more features and benefits for the Kindle users. People who use the Kindle store for free as well as premium kindle users will be allowed to use even more free Kindle applications including a feature that will enable them to loan books to others for a time span of two weeks.
However, it has been clearly said that during this two week period, the owner of the book will not be able to read it.
Amazon however said that only some of the Kindle books on the website will be available. The decision of which books will be allowed to be loaned depends on the rights holders or the book publisher’s.
The most recent version of the Kindle released by Amazon has been priced at one hundred and thirty nine dollars. It is supposed to use Wi-Fi connection to wirelessly download book content from its Kindle Store.
