E-mail Trial to be Held
Guy Hands

The real working of the bankers and their private equity clients is now available through the bundle of dry documents and jargon-filled e-mails. The jury in the Terra Firma-Citigroup lawsuit is said to have been forced to take a look at it.

Citi’s David Wormsley’s former friend and shooting partner Guy Hands is said to have alleged betrayal. This trial is being considered the most sensational financial trials for years as it will have Guy Hands of Terra Firma and David Worsmley of Citibank, facing each other in the court.

Some e-mails are said to have made it very clear as to hoe some past exchanges had taken place and how the banking head had managed to indulge a lucrative client.

“You may be surprised to hear that, within Citi, Terra Firma is one of the examples we hold up of how, as a group, we have consistently put the client before our own interests”, Mr. Wormsley said in one.

One another time, he said that he had not been able to get the best possible results. In yet another he said that he saw them as one of their closest relationships in Europe.
