Offering simplified entry, time-efficient training and easy access to EMC’ s stable of infrastructure products and solutions, the EMC asserts at having made some noteworthy improvements to its Velocity Solution Provider Partner programme.

The partners will now have access to the full portfolio of EMC storage, data backup and recovery, archiving, information security and information governance products, says EMC.

This has been done with the help of the EMC Data Domain deduplication storage systems which are said to have been integrated into Velocity in January, together with the RSA information security solutions which are due to come up by July 1st, 2011.

Gregg Ambulos, Vice President, Americas Channel Sales says that this is perhaps the first time that partners are being given this big opportunity as storage happens to be one of the top growth areas in IT.

He further adds that EMC still continues to deliver the right products to successfully address customer pain points. This has made EMC’s complete portfolio of industry-leading products reachable.

Arthur Steinert, Senior Director, global channel marketing at EMC says "These are the biggest changes to the program in the last ten years. We've spent a lot of time listening to our partners, globally. We are building off a strong base, and introducing some substantial enhancements”.
