The third quarter profit of Deutsche Telekom is at par with the expectations and confirmed its forecast for the fiscal riding on the strong development of its business in Germany, the largest market of the firm.

The company stated that its EIBDTA went down as the costs of customers acquisition went higher up especially in countries like Netherlands and the US. It also suffered due to regulatory impositions and a weak economic condition of the South Eastern European countries.
The company’s sales also saw a decline of four decimal one percent amounting to fifteen decimal six zero billion euros.
The forecast of analysts polled by Reuters were five decimal zero billion euros core profit and fifteen decimal five four billion euros group sales.
The telecom company said once again that it has plans to reach an amount of twenty billion dollars in its EBITDA in this financial year and it also wants to generate a free cash flow of nearly six decimal two billion euros.
The firm on Thursday posted a seven decimal nine percent hike in its third quarter net profit.
The firm saw a net profit of one decimal zero four billion euros in the quarter compared to nine hundred and fifty nine million euros in the previous year. It had surpassed the expected figure of nine hundred and thirteen million dollars. .
In the figure that came out in the last year the firm’s UK operations were included which at present is with a joint venture called Everything Everywhere with France Telecom SA.
