Acer releases dual Android-Windows 7 netbook

Acer has released the latest 10-inch netbook that makes use of the latest Intel Atom dual-core processor, that comes with by default two operating systems. The Aspire One Happy has come in stores in four colors, measures 24mm and weighs 1.25kg.

The Aspire One Happy has been endowed with both the Android and Windows 7 operating systems, has a 93 per cent full-sized keyboard with multi-gesture touchpad, webcam and built-in microphone.

Other specs include a dual-core Intel Atom N550 processor with Intel's Graphics Media Accelerator 3150, 250GB of storage, and a multi-in-one card reader.

The firm claims that the dimensions of the Aspire One Happy is 24mm thin, weighs 1.25kg, and comes with a 10.1-inch WSVGA high-brightness display with 16:9 aspect ratio. The four colour range comes as -Pink, Purple, Green and Hawaii Blue.

Acer's Product Manager for Consumer Notebooks, Chris Osborne stated, "The release of the Aspire One Happy this November is perfectly timed. It's just in time for the Christmas season, and would make the perfect gift for a loved one."

The Acer Aspire One Happy can be availed for $499.
