Palm Pre released off Sprint's and Verizon's Websites

Palm Pre, the first mobile device which has been released last year with Palm's webOS mobile operating system, has vanished in thin air and nowhere to be found with US based wireless carriers such as Sprint and Verizon (the Plus version), hinting of the next version of Palm Pre 2.

HP has proclaimed its latest Pre 2 smartphone, which has been made available for purchase in France via SFR, and should shortly be released in UK before the end of this week.

Moreover, the firm adds that the new device will be launched in US from Verizon Wireless in the following weeks, but did not release specific info on what might happen soon.

The Pre 2 is a much awaited device which will be sporting the latest webOS 2.0 operating system, and shall be daunting the platform of Verizon.

When evaluated with an older device, the latest Pre 2 sports a better faster processor and comes with a 5-megapixel camera.

The device makes perfect sense for HP to soon release it in the markets, but it is yet to be witnessed who shall be the carriers who sport the two CDMA devices in the US, though the GSM version of the device shall be released in the country as an unlocked device.
