Sky corroborates UK Online closure

Sky has stated that it soon will be turning down the UK Online, according to its second string ISP brand, in January.

The scheduled step has been released after the sale of Easynet, which actually priced the UK Online to sale of consumers through its network.

A Sky spokesman added: "Since 2005 Sky has operated two residential broadband services, Sky Broadband and UK Online. To better serve customers now and into the future we are going to focus all our efforts on Sky Broadband, which allows us to offer higher quality, better value services”.

To further secure the UK Online customer usage and at the same time enjoy uninterrupted broadband access, the firm is opting out for clear advice on their options to look out for new broadband provider.

UK Online's users claim that users have offered that the chance to join Sky broadband, but will need to archive their UK Online email accounts, which soon shall be deleted.
