Judges who sued singer Chris Brown, sentencing him to probation for having violently attacked his ex-girlfriend, the pop star Rihanna, underline that the convict makes excellent progress in fulfilling his probation terms.
Responsible Judge for Chris Brown's case, Patricia Schnegg, addresses the committer in a recent hearing in Los Angeles: "Of all probationers I've ever had, and I've had thousands of probationers, no one has ever done a better or more consistent job than you have. And I really want to commend you for taking responsibility, and for actually working diligently to complete all of the things the court has required of you."
The punishment program for Brown is still ongoing and consists of working numerous hours in community service and attending several domestic-violence counseling sessions. The singer is not allowed to come near his ex-girlfriend or communicate with her anymore.
After the violent attacks on Rihanna subsequently to a pre-Grammy Awards party last year caused huge negative publicity, James Brown now maintains quiet about his deed.
Many critics demanded an imprisonment of Brown after Rihanna had to be hospitalized with severe bruises. The court now reveals satisfaction with Brown's judgment as the committer shows improvement. Chris Brown has managed to partly reconstruct his initially ruined reputation and rebuild his career.
