Shares of Dell Inc has gone up

The third biggest supplier of personal computers called Dell Inc has gone up by ten percent as found during the late trading hours yesterday after the firm has posted its earnings that has surpassed the predictions of analysts. It happened for a fall in component prices.

In the third quarter of the fiscal the firm's profit excluding certain items was in the tune of forty five cents per share. The company which is based in Round Rock of Texas stated that yesterday. It had surpassed the thirty two cents per share on an average predicted by a survey done by Bloomberg.

Dell got benefited as the component prices got cheaper and companies had spent lavishly for updating their age old personal computers and servers. Aaron Rakers, an analyst at Stifel Nicolaus & Co. of St Louis has stated that the PC manufacturer had hold back their line on price reducing to retain their profit margins.

Rakers went on to say that the firm showed a bit more discipline and it is expected that company hold on to it in the coming days.

Yesterday in the late trading hours Dell went up as much as nine decimal seven percent to amount fifteen dollars. It had gone up by thirty two cents to amount thirteen decimal six seven dollars in Nasdaq Stock Market. So far in this year the shares saw a loss of four decimal eight percent.

Brian Gladden, the chief financial officer of the company while giving an interview after the results stated that pricing discipline of the company had given them the profit margins. Dell did not cut their product prices to a high extent. He also said that as component prices had fallen, the profit margins of the company increased.
