New York - Sex And The City star Sarah Jessica Parker, 43, denied rumours that her marriage with fellow actor Matthew Broderick, 46, is on the rocks.

The couple appeared in public at a Broadway show, holding hands. "We don't even bother to address the reports," People magazine quoted the actress as saying.

The best thing about being married was being married, Parker quipped. The couple, who married in 1997, have one son, James Wilke, aged six.

Gossip about a break-up has been circulating since August, when a magazine reported about an alleged affair of Broderick. (dpa)
