Wind unveils the Android Alcatel Tribe at $190

Wind Mobile is aiming for the upcoming holiday season with the latest second Android device, the Alcatel Tribe OT-981.

The device is based on 2.1, with a 2 megapixel camera, 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen, Wi-Fi, GPS, and 3G. Its features as a portrait-slider with a full QWERTY keyboard which is nowhere similar to that of Motorola Spice that unveiled yesterday.

In addition to the above offer Wind Mobile further proclaimed the promotional offer where one gets a free BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9100 if one buys a BlackBerry Bold 9700 with activation on the same day.

The recent release allows one to pay up to $150 of the device cost merely by a user.

Wind Mobile soon is nearing their one-year anniversary, and it will be interesting to see what other offers are released at the same time.

The latest member list is tabulated at 140,000, which apparently is a decent start for any carrier.

One can avail the Alcatel Tribe in the Wind Mobile store for $190.
