Expecting mothers beware of using cell phones, as they can end up having a negating affect in soon-to-be-born child.

A recent study conducted by the researchers at the University of California and the University of Southern California found that those women, who regularly use cell phones during their pregnancy period may cause behavioural problems in their child.

The research that observed around 29,000 youngsters found that children under the age of seven, who were exposed to the use of mobile phones, had 20% chances of developing abnormal behavior, whereas those children in the womb, who are exposed to cell phones, had 30% chances of developing behavioural problems.

In the study, Kheifets and her colleagues wrote: "We are concerned that early exposure to cell phones could carry a risk, which, if real, would be of public health concern given the widespread use of the technology".

He even added that although a lot of studies are yet to be made in this regard but the findings of research clearly warn the use of cell phones by pregnant ladies. Thus, cell phone exposure should be strictly minimized during pregnancy.
