She always promotes her favourites on the show, be it her favourite doctor, Mehmet Oz, talking about reiki, actress Suzanne Somers extolling injecting estrogen directly into her vagina, the not-necessarily-harmless silliness of The Secret, or even a Brazilian faith healer.

Millions and billions of viewers, who regularly watch the show firmly believes in her and think that the stuff will make them feel better.

Earlier in the year 2007, Oprah promoted anti-vaccination information on her website and repeatedly invited actress Jenny McCarthy, who told her on the sets of the show that vaccinations made her young son autistic. As a matter of fact the vaccination rates reduced in the US. However, various studies show no link between vaccines and autism spectrum disorders.

Lot of people look up to her as a person, who wants to do good but such violating informations that are shared on her show are effecting the health of her fans.
