Positive impact, after the merger of the companies

For special merger resolution, 75 per cent of the votes were needed for two companies to merge. But in place of 75 per cent, the voter turnout was more than 80 per cent making easy for the company to come together. It has been 135 years of the old company which is known as CBS to become and merge with another company.

Chairman Gary Leech said that is a very big deal for the 2 companies to come together and to get merged. The previous company had a strong presence in the Canterbury area presence and after this merger; we will still dominate the place.

It gives the company to get honored and recognized in the greater world. After the meeting with the shareholders and the depositors, the all three companies gave a positive indication of merger.

All the three stakeholders were in favor of this plan and we succeeded in doing so. By next week court will give the green signal for the merger and we will go with it further.
