Tech firms and Health Care Providers To make a Good Match

The new health care law seeks a spate of changes in the operation of doctors in hospitals. As a consequence numerous Texas technology companies are witnessed to prepare themselves to center and invest in it.

The recent one is Dell Inc. (DELL) which on Wednesday announced to undergo an acquisition deal with a privately held medical data technology company InSite One Inc. The acquisition centers on assisting health care companies operate patient data more accurately and effectively.

"Our customers have told us that managing the growing demands of both digital images and patient records is one of their greatest concerns", James Coffin, vice president of Dell Healthcare and Life Sciences was quoted as saying.

In addition, the new law has claimed that health care providers will be paid on the basis of the work quality they extend and not just on the quantity of services they facilitate.

However, doctors will want reassurance that they're being paid fairly.

It is felt that doctors and hospitals will now require more patient information readily available in a bid to prevent cases of misdiagnosis or unnecessary readmission.

Moreover, the U. S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services are reportedly focusing on hospital readmissions as a means to lower costs.
