Republicans have a Thorn in their Foot Regarding Health Reforms
Health Reforms

It seems that the Republican majority that has been elected to the House of Representatives is going a little over the top. It has had this strange obsession with voicing out angst against any healthcare legislation being passed by the Democrats and the Obama Administration.

The brash behavior by the Republicans has possibly, already marred their chances at another shot of a majority. The condition has been such that they have been trying too hard to prove that the Obama Administration is a failure.

Talking about the situation, Former Rep. Bob Inglis from South Carolina says that he has seen dogs chase cars a lot of times. But, the current situation is such that the Republicans are like the dogs, which have finally got a ride on the car.

Though, the Republicans might scorn at the new healthcare reforms, but, if looked at carefully the new legislation is quite encouraging. Apparently, parents will now be allowed to keep their children under health insurance till the age of 26.

All insurance plans will have to cover children, who are under 19-years old. Insurance providers will also have to spend a premium amounting to 80-85% on improving healthcare quality, rather than spending the money on administrative costs. If, Companies don’t spend on healthcare, then they would have to provide discounts to their customers.

The new laws happen to be very encouraging. However, it is simply not understandable, why the Republicans would want to be against them.
