Bank of America has risen to extend a helping hand to the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks. The bank is reported to have extended a donation of over $7,500. The donation was presented via a check on Tuesday.
The move opted by the Bank of America is claimed to be a part of the bank's local grant making program.
"BCFO is honored to have such a longstanding partnership with Bank of America", Crystal Webster, BCFO Executive Director, was quoted as saying in a press release. "Their support has been valuable in providing help and hope to those impacted by breast cancer".
In addition, she outlined that with the help of America grant, local women would be able to get a secure financial assistance, free screening mammograms, along with education related to breast cancer. Besides, the grant centers on spreading awareness on breast cancer.
Hailed to be a local organization, BCFO diverts all the funds raised in the community towards providing resources and assistance for individuals and their families, primarily those who had or are being affected by this deadly ailment.
