Verizon Wireless has come up with a line of ten new devices that will be using its high-speed LTE mobile network. The products show cased during the CES also include tablets, smartphones and mobile hotspots too.
This is the extension of its LTE network usage that was launched in December.
At that time, the only use it had was for USB modems which could be used with the laptops for accessing Internet. But the new device include even the Android phones. These include big names like the HTC, Motorola, LG and Samsung.
While Samsung has its Galaxy Tab that uses LTE for Motorola it is Xoom. It is a laptop that uses Honeycomb version of Android. Besides there is also news that Compaq and HP are also going to have laptops which will come with LTE connectivity, soon.
LTE is a new mobile technology that is able to offer download speed up to 5 mbps. At present, Verizon has this technology is 38 countries and has plans to expand it to 140.
Meanwhile, the company announced that all its new products are going to be in the market by the first half of this year.
