NHS Data Access and Availability Pointed by BMA

The British medical association (BMA) is asserting that the IT infrastructure of current scenario will not be able to maintain a balance and pace with required changes. The assertion came into account after the news that UK government is thinking of instigating significant alterations to make easy availability of data to practitioners and patients made by NHS.

A confirmed source of patient's information is to be set up with a right strategy by government. A better and vast implementation of NHS controlled data must be there by BMA. The liberalization of patient's data with present IT system is a topic of concern. There is a possibility of shortage of cash by government to make important improvements.

According to Dr Brian Fisher, the NHS Alliance led for public and patient involvement, an ambitious vision of future of information in NHS is set out by the white papers. There is a fade vision of achieving this strategy. Staff and financial issues will become critical with the current changes to NHS.

From past few years, the alliance has been strong source of information for patients to keep proper control and check over there own data.
