Just after midnight Saturday, oil halted to flow and the pipeline was totally drained to revive the leakage, near the opening of the line at Pump Station.
The line which was leaking was incased in cement, hence at present work parties are installing pipe to go around the affected part and take oil flow one time again.
On Friday, Senator Lisa Murkowski stated that she has inquired for a top-to-bottom survey of the pipeline.
Oil again ended to flow by the trans-Alaska pipeline earlier Saturday morning as the workers worked very hard to set up a leak found past weekend.
"Crews are working on setting up the bypass line," said Alyeska spokesperson Michelle Egan. "We were looking at about a 36-hour shutdown."
But this current closure has numerous issues, including Sen. Lisa Murkowski, suspecting the potential of the pipeline.
