Starbucks expanding rollout of 31-ounce drink size

The old saying of bigger the better is finally making its effect felt in the market and among the Starbucks customers. The company is all set to roll out its latest offering to the people and this will contain the Trenta, which is the cup size that will contain the quart's worth beverages like that of tea, coffee and lemonade.

The company, Starbucks Corp has commented that Trenta, which is 30 according to Italian will be 31 ounces which is about 50 cents higher than 20 ounce Venti size. These new moddled cups will be introduced in the 14 states, namely, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, New Mexico, Hawaii, Louisiana, Texas, Nevada and Arizona.

The residence of California will be able to purchase these from the beginning of Feb and the entire population of the country will be able to have access the product by May 1. The plan for the expansion has come after a series of decisions that were taken after the café chains have tested 31 ounce cup in several markets, which includes Tampa, Fla., Phoenix and Atlanta.

This new plus sized iced drink has already made headlines in the media and is being highly anticipated by the people. The Trenta will consist of 31 ounces which is one ounce less than that of the Quarts and will be available for iced coffee, lemonade and Tazo shaken iced tea.

The company will roll out the products at 14 states in the South and also in the Southwest part of the country. By early part of May the entire roll out will be completed and people will have access to the products. The Trenta sized drinks will be little more on the cost aspect as you will have to pay 50 cents more than what you have to pay now for the current tall drinks, 24 ounce.
