‘American Idol’ Second Round Closer To Naming Semi-Finalists

Out of 104-crooners' group performances, `American Idol' host Ryan Seacreast announced 75-hopefulls successfully made it to the next round of Hollywood Week's eighth season, another step closer to naming its' 36 semi-finalists.

Out of the 147-hopefuls, who arrived at Los Angeles ' famed Kodak Theatre for Hollywood Week, the judges' in pursuance of their goal and succinctly explained by Simon Cowell i. e. `All we're looking for is a star,' 104-singers were still standing, including: `Bikini Girl' Katrina Darrell, can't help being confrontational Nancy Wilson, happy-go-lucky Austin Sisneros, Rose Flack with her dreadlocks, Southern belle Deanna Brown, last but not least David Osmond, who just happens to be the son of the Osmonds' eldest brother.

Watch out for:
1. Lil Rounds, who managed to sing Whitney without getting destroyed by the judges.

2. Anoop Desai, who with only 14-seconds of screen time, succeeded in undoing the damage Sanjaya Malakar inflicted upon South Asian singers.

3. Nick Mitchell for keeping his wit and for being the only contestant in the history of `American Idol', who's in on the joke.

4. Jeremy Michael Sarver, a roughneck who is a long way from his oil rig, and therefore, the perfect Idol success story to give the media weeks of fodder.

5. Jamar Rogers, Randy describes as `different and relevant' and someone who can sing, a mix of Andre 3000 and Pharrell.
