Bridge point Education will be opening an office in downtown Denver

On Thursday, Bridgepoint Education Inc. stated that it will open an office in downtown Denver for providing student services support as a move for its post-secondary education programs.

The company based in San Diego stated that the new operation will create at least five hundred jobs in Denver.

Bridgepoint Education runs the Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa and the University of the Rockies located in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Shares of Bridgepoint Education went up by thirty eight cents to close at seventeen dollars and twenty cents. Bridgepoint Education Inc. (BPI: News) said on Thursday it is going to open a new location in Denver, Colorado, which can create jobs in the tune of five hundred.

The company has plans to occupy office space which is located in downtown Denver. The office space is supposed to be used for supporting student services for Ashford University, Bridgepoint Education's universities and University of the Rockies.

Bridgepoint is supposed to occupy up to one hundred and seventy five thousand square feet of space which is situated in the Park Central Building at 1515 Arapahoe St.

A recent leasing brochure coming out for the building advertised nearly one hundred and ten thousand square feet of available space and asking for a lease rate of thirty dollars per square foot per annum.

Local real estate brokers state that Bridgepoint, which already has one campus located in Colorado Springs, is close to sign up a lease for roughly one hundred and fifty thousand square feet of office space at the Park Central building downtown.

The Denver location will be another to be added to Bridgepoint Education's current facilities which now run in four states. The company also has locations in California; San Diego, Colorado Springs, Clinton, Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania Colorado; and Iowa.
