Russian Baby Yoga Is Three Decades Old

The images of a Russian child being tossed, spun and twisted in midair are not soothing the Americans.

Though rumours are that the baby is not real but a former Time magazine editor, Nathan Thornburgh, clarified and said he had met both of them, the baby yoga guru, 50 years old Lena Fokina, living in Egypt and the baby, who lives nearby Kiev, Ukraine, was just two weeks old at the time of shooting of the photographs and now is two years old and is very fine with the health.

Fokina claimed that baby yoga helps the children by improving their mobility, freedom and independence. She further added that yoga has been practiced in Russia since last three decades.

In an exclusive interview Fokina said, “Did they notice that the babies aren’t crying—they’re even laughing—and that this system has been used for over thirty years in Russia and the children are all alive and healthy? If you need more proof, the best thing is to come see us.”
