The World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF), a part of the World Health Organization, have done this study to found that 326 people in every 100,000 is affected by cancer every year.

Another reason for Denmark to on the number one place is that that it is a highly developed nation with high-income people and advanced medical facilities. So the diagnosis of new cancer cases are more.

High-income group people are engaged into alcoholic drinks and obesity and they have lower level of physical activity. These develop a risk for cancer.

Professor Martin Wiseman, medical and scientific adviser to the WCRF, commented: "The high incidence rates in the UK, Denmark and other high-income countries are not inevitable and lifestyle changes can make a real difference to people's risk.

The scientists have examined that many cases of cancer can be prevented by maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Having balanced diet, doing physical exercise and morning walks help to prevent cancer.

Around ninety percent lung cancer is caused by smoking and is very difficult to treat. A study reveals that cancer is most common among the high-income group people and is very less among the medium and the low-income groups. Unhealthy lifestyle is the only reason behind such large cancer cases.
