PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 29 -- Scottie Reynolds scored 14 points Friday and No. 22 Villanova overcame a slow start to defeat Towson 64-47.
The victory came in the Philly Classic and created a championship game Saturday matching Villanova and Rhode Island.
The Wildcats (5-0) had only a one-point lead with 4:30 to play in the first half and had to settle for a 33-28 advantage at the break. That lead, however, grew to 20 points with just over 7 minutes left in the game.
Antonio Pena and Dante Cunningham both had 12 for Villanova. Towson (3-2) was led by Junior Hairston with 11.(UPI)
