Claire Danes And Hugh Dancy, Officially Engaged

In an exclusive report by People Magazine, also confirmed by their representative, American actress Claire Danes and English actor Hugh Dancy, her boyfriend of two years, have become officially engaged.

Reportedly, the two first met on the sets of their film 'Evening', and Danes, 29, despite being in a three year old relationship with Billy Crudup, fell hard for the 33-year old English actor. Apparently, Danes has in habit of falling in love with her leading men, having fallen in love with Crudup, when she appeared with him in 'Stage Beauty', even though at the time she was in a 6-year relationship with Australian singer Ben Lee, who moving on married actress Ione Skye in India, last month.

Crudup, also fell for Danes, despite being in a 7-year relationship with actress Mary-Louise Parker, who at the time was 7-months pregnant with their first child.

Best known for playing the role of Angela Chase, a socially hypocritical teenager on 'My So Called Life', who drops Brian Krakow, just so she can pursue a romance with the better looking Jordan Catalano (played by Jared Leto), even though he is emotionally unavailable, Danes has also made appearances in films like 'Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines' and 'Romeo + Juliet'.

Ironically, Danes auditioned for and was James Cameron's first choice to play Rose in 'Titanic', who, of course, promises never to let go of Jack, before she lets him sink to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean .

So, sincerest congratulations to Claire Danes till she meets someone better than Dancy!
