Bulimia happens to be a condition in which, affected people usually eat a lot of food and vomit it after eating, while in anorexia, sufferers starve themselves to lose weight.

The study was carried out after 248-girls were questioned regarding their use of media tools like the television, internet and magazine reading habits. Apparently, girls who surf Facebook more than the others built up a negative image of their body and resorted to drastic measures in order to improve their looks.

Meanwhile, a report that has appeared on the Daily Mail has reported that various success stories on celebrity magazines were increasing the number of people suffering from eating disorders. Apparently, an increasing numbers of people have developed a condition known as Othorexia Nervosa.

Though, it is a good habit to monitor what you consume, still, some people end up completely rejecting a food item, which can leave them with completely rejection of some food groups that can prove to be dangerous for their overall health.
