OnTime, Ripple Mobile’s first app is said to alert you about your next event which is based on the current location. In an attempt to help Business traveler’s undue effort to gauge how much time is needed to travel from one meeting to another in a different location, this application has been designed.

Making use of the uploaded calendars and Google Maps API, this application helps the user assign each appointment an address. And based on how much travel time is between your current location and destination, the application sends alerts when its time for you to leave for your next appointment.

While there are several other applications push notifications based on times entered by the user, OnTime gives turn-by-turn directions with travel conditions according to your current location.

You can also set alerts for a bit of cushion time before you leave for meetings, also you can see for yourself as in which calendars to receive notifications for, and send an e-mail or text message if you happen to get late. And once you reach the desired location, you would be asked if you wish to share it on Facebook and Twitter.

As per reports ever since the app launched on December 21, all the users who have downloaded it have not deleted it.
