ComScore Chairman to present quarterly review of the state of the U.S. online retail economy

The quarterly review of the state of the U.S. online retail economy will be presented by the comScore Chairman, Gian Fulgoni during a complimentary, live webinar on Thursday, Feb. 19 at 12 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The review will include an analysis of e-commerce trends through the fourth quarter of 2008 and into January 2009.

According to comScore, the review will include an overview of changes in online spending patterns of consumers from 2007 through the fourth quarter of 2008 and into January 2009. It will reveal the survey findings that highlight consumer sentiment regarding the economy in 2009.

It will present analysis of spending patterns across key product categories. It will offer review of consumer spending by demographic segment. It will feature analysis of differences in performance across retailer segments. And, it will also offer an overview of the impact of search and comparison shopping sites on e-commerce spending in the face of today's economy.
