A representative of E! Online confirms singer-actress Mandy Moore and rocker Ryan Adams, who reportedly began dating end-2007, split during the summer of 2008 and got back together in recent weeks, are now engaged to be married.

Adams in an August statement confirming the break-up stated: 'Mandy is one of those genuinely sweet angelic people you wish to meet your whole life. Unfortunately I am allergic to paparazzi.'

While, Moore 's camp confirms the engagement, Adams rep. told Access Hollywood: 'We have no statement and never comment on Ryan's personal life'.

Previously, Moore has been linked to Andy Roddick, DJ AM and tennis star, Wilmer Valderrama and Zach Braff, Adams among others has dated Parker Posey, Winona Ryder and singer Beth Orton.

The second rocker-actress couple to get engaged recently, Ben Gibbard , the frontman for Death Cab for Cutie and Zooey Deschanel, front for retro-pop act She & Him, also got engaged just before the New Year.
