Review: ‘Dollhouse’

Joss Whedon may rank amongst our greatest writers, seemingly incapable of writing anything ordinary, and Fox's complex sci-fi drama 'Dollhouse' is no exception.

Unfortunately, a story line about a secret agency that replaces people's personalities with made-to-order imprints, is a show his most devoted fans will embrace after much debate, however, a mass audience will just fail to get it.

From 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' to 'Serenity' to 'Angel', fans could always count on Whedon TV shows and their comic book tie-ins. But, if they are looking forward to four-colour representations of upcoming sci-fi series, 'Dollhouse', forget it; don't hold your breath for it to happen.

'Dollhouse' disappoints as most of the audience will fail to get the plot!
