Earlier, reports about Rodriguez abandoning his children on Thanksgiving, so that he could spend time with Madonna in New York, surfaced.  However, according to a source, it was never his intention to fly back to New York to be with Madonna, forgoing spending the holiday with Cynthia and daughters.

Rather, Madonna extended her trip to Miami, where she has a home on Star Island, so the two could spend the holiday together anyway.
