Lashings Made on Craigslist and the Response

There has been a challenge made by Craigslist that has been termed the classified site as “a cesspool of crime”.

The study was conducted by consultant AIM group for Oodle. com, which is a rival site of the Craigslist, and said that the site has been linked with 330 crimes, 105 robberies and 12 murders as well as assaults across the United States of America last year due to the facility of anonymous interactions that the site provides.

The report is of the conclusion that the facility of anonymous transactions on the Craigslist is being misused by a number of criminals across the nation.

Criminals have the liberty to steal, buy and sell apartments as well as cars and other valuable possessions. There is no longer the application of the old time rules like ‘knowing whom you’re dealing with’ and ‘meeting in public’.

The CL is a huge site which is viewed and used all over the nation. The CL Chief Executive Jim Buckmaster said that these were fake and untrue reports and were being used to divert the attention of the users to themselves and create mistrust among the users.
